We have already explored 13 essential elements needed to succeed as an entrepreneur in Cameroon starting from zero FCFA, without debt, corruption, or tax fraud. Today, we will discover 2 more.

🌿 1- OVERCOMING DISCOURAGEMENT
As an entrepreneur, there will always be moments when you feel tempted to give up. What often causes discouragement is focusing on what we lack.
For example, out of 10 things you want, you already have 9. But because one is missing, you become discouraged instead of being grateful for the other 9.
You can already thank God for the feet you have, the hands you have, and the eyes you have. Some people do not have what you possess today.
If God has not answered your prayer yet, it may be because He wants to protect you from something, because He has a better plan for you.
That is why Ruth Bell Graham, the wife of one of the greatest evangelists of all time, Billy Graham, once said:
💬 “God has not always answered my prayers. If He had, I would have married the wrong man several times.”

🌱 2- STOP FEELING LIKE YOU ARE TOO SLOW AND THAT OTHERS ARE AHEAD OF YOU
You must stop comparing yourself to others. Each of us has a specific purpose on this earth.
A dog cannot envy a fish, nor can a fish envy a dog. If the dog tries to live in water, it will drown. And if the fish wants to walk on land like the dog, it will also die. Why? Because each one was created for a specific environment.
Likewise, God has certainly destined you for something unique.
Based on the talents you have received, God will judge you accordingly. You who received one talent should not compare yourself to the person who received three. God expects that person to multiply them and bring back six. But from you, He simply expects your one talent to produce two.
So do not try to accomplish someone else’s mission. Faithfully accomplish your own.
We also have the example of the animals entering Noah’s ark before the flood. We can imagine that some faster animals entered before the others. The turtle was probably among the slowest.
If the turtle had compared itself to the others, it might have believed it would never arrive on time. Yet the Bible says:
📖 “And those that entered, male and female of all flesh, went in as God had commanded Noah; and the Lord shut him in.”
— Genesis 7:16
Maybe you are the turtle.
Go at your own pace.
The most important thing is to make sure, every day, that you do nothing against God’s will.
Keep moving forward.
Simply strive to be better than you were yesterday.
